A review of Napoleon Hills “Keys to Success: The 17 Principles of Personal Achievement”.
This is # 1.
1) The starting point of all achievement is “Develop Definiteness of Purpose.” Find your passion, define it and polish it until it is crystal clear to you. Take care of the things that have to be done (work and family responsibilities, etc) and then go for your dream with full gusto. This can be very difficult because there are so many things that need to get done and take our attention, that there does not seem to be any time or energy left over for our dreams. By working smarter and eliminating the non-essential, there will be time for our dreams to come true. Make a plan and map it out and go get it. Focus everyday on your most important goals to achieve them. Keep a journal of your efforts if it helps. This can be as simple as a calendar that you write your goal on the top and in each square write what you did that day to move you closer to your goal.
I will follow with the next principle in a day or so. I hope that you enjoy this and benefit from it.
Remember: It shouldn’t hurt to walk.
