Summer, Time for Fun and Success – Part 12

A review of Napoleon Hills “Keys to Success: The 17 Principles of Personal Achievement”.

Inspire TeamworkThis is # 12.

12) “Inspire Teamwork” Cooperation always pays high dividends. Teamwork is harmonious cooperation that is willing, voluntary and free. When teamwork is applied to any problem or opportunity, success is inevitable. Generosity, fair treatment, courtesy and a willingness to serve are qualities of teamwork. Watching team sports is a great way to learn many lesions of success. Many teams have won the day, even when their opponent was faster, stronger, bigger and more experienced because they played as one and not individuals. A great couch is priceless. To be able to take a group of men, women, boys or girls with different wants and needs and for the time of training and games, have them focus on a common goal, is magic. Be the player that is easy to coach. I was in the US Navy and you are taught that unless you can follow you will never be able to lead. Once you start looking for this you cannot miss it, and it works this way every time. Team Work will win. Try it wherever you can. Husbands can make dinner and clean it up and put the kids to bed. Wives can take out the trash and mow the lawn. The quarterback can tackle but it works better if he throws the ball where it needs to be and the receiver catches it. Teamwork works best when we are masters at our station but when needed we can do other task.

I will follow with the next principle in a day or so. I hope that you enjoy this and benefit from it.
